Security Options Of HaJo.Net

This site is using various security features. Below you can retrieve all the relevant certificates and keys you might want to have to access parts of this site.

HaJo.Net Root CA Certificate

As you might have noticed, some of my pages use the https-protocol, I.e. they are sent over the internet in encrypted form. This is especially true for pages which offer some sensitive information, e.g. the ones which ask you to enter your password. To display such pages, I have a encryption key and certificate which follows the SSL standard. As a greedy Swabian though, I did not purchase an official one from one of the Authorities which certify my (domain's) identity. This is why, when you access one of my secure pages, your browser will pop up a warning saying that the identity of the certificate can not be authenticated.
I went a small step further and became by own authority ;-) If you trust me, you can add my Root-CA, I.e. the root certificate which will in turn validate all certificates I authenticated once. For most browsers, you can add it automatically to your browser. Otherwise you may copy-and-paste it into your application.

Secure e-mail

If you want to contact me via encrypted e-mail, you can do so through PGP. All you need to do first is to download my PGP key.
Alternatively, some e-mail applications like MS Outlook use S/MIME for encryption. If this is the way you prefer to encrypt, here's my SSL Certificate. In case you use this method, better also install the HaJo.Net Root CA cert above.
